Physical Disabilities
St Rose’s support children and students who have a varying range of physical disabilities. We are committed to helping every student achieve their optimum level of function. We aim to encourage them to develop to their full potential and achieve their ambitions.
Communication Difficulties
Speech, language and communication underpins everything that we do – from making ourselves heard and expressing our opinions to interacting with and understanding the world around us.
Autism Spectrum
Autistic students at St Rose’s are supported to achieve their full potential using best practice drawn from a range of recognised and evidence based approaches.
Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties
At St Rose’s we believe in education for all, without barriers. All students follow personalised learning programmes and we make our curriculum as lively and relevant as possible. For students with profound and multiple learning difficulties education follows an early developmental sensory curriculum and there is a holistic approach to all learning opportunities.
Severe Learning Difficulties
St Rose’s offers a safe and nurturing environment for students with severe learning difficulties with a range of specialists working together to develop each individual student.
Sensory Impairment
St Rose’s support students with a wide range of needs. Many of our students have sensory impairments which occur alongside other complex physical and/or learning difficulties.
Complex Health Needs
At St Rose’s we care for students with both congenital and acquired disabilities many of whom have related complex health needs, including neurology, endocrine, metabolic and respiratory conditions.
Nursing
Our dedicated nursing team are fully qualified and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). They have extensive experience and specialist knowledge of the care required by our students.
