School Ages 16 to 19

Our Curriculum in Post 16 is focused on the 4 pathways for Preparation for Adulthood: Employment; Independent Living; Community Inclusion; and Health. We support our students to be as independent as possible, to be visible in and participate in their local community and to experience and maintain good mental and physical health in adulthood.

Students are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential and to receive accredited certificates in recognition of their achievements through the ASDAN ‘My Independence’ program of learning. This program focuses on practical and social skills as well as functional maths and English.
