St Rose’s provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs.
We are looking for committed Teaching Assistants to work in St. Rose’s School with our students to give them the individual attention they need to help them achieve their potential and to assist them with their personal care needs.
St Rose’s is an inspiring, stimulating and rewarding place to work, where new challenges abound. We have a strong commitment to support staff in continuing their professional development, and we offer many ways to achieve this. Our staff enjoy a strong sense of community and professional support, as well as a lively and cheerful environment to work in. In addition, there are many other benefits for staff, including a central Stroud location with easy access to buses and trains; on-site parking, attractive grounds, low-cost lunches and subsidised nursery places.
Candidates will require an enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references prior to taking up the post. Applications should be made by application form only. CV’s will not be accepted.
NO AGENCIES PLEASE.
For an informal conversation about the position, please contact Louise Harper, Deputy Head of School, St. Rose’s on 01453 763793 Ext 213.
St Rose’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff, and volunteers, to share the same commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
