Summerfield Charitable Trust

A massive thank you is extended to The Summerfield Charitable Trust for their very generous donation and hard work carried out by my contact Lavinia Sidgwick and the Trustees of the charity whom ultimately facilitated their offer which was confirmed by letter on 26.11.2024, they are donating £150,000 towards our current Project Connect appeal, which relates to St Martin’s College and will be completed over three separate phases.
The first phase will extend the teaching area to the side of the current St Martin’s building adjacent to the current classrooms, providing 2 additional large teaching spaces, 2 accessible bathrooms, additional office space and a new sensory pathway from the car park to the entrance to the college on the lower ground floor.
Phase two will link the two buildings and provide two additional bedrooms and bathroom, as well as office space, staff room and staff toilets.
Finally, phase three will refurbish the bedrooms and bathrooms in Jean Paul House to bring them up to date.
This incredibly generous donation has been gratefully acknowledged and has given our campaign a huge boost.
We will ensure that every last penny of this donation is used for Project Connect for the benefit of all our college students.
