SR4’s Visit to the Church of the Immaculate Conception

On Friday 24th January, SR4 went over to the Church to see Father Gary. At the Church, Father Gary kindly answered our questions about Jesus’ life, told us about moments when Jesus had to be resilient (our core value for the term) and when Jesus helped the poor (our Catholic Social Teaching). He then gave us a tour of the Church showing us how the Church reflects key moments from Jesus’ life, Jesus’ friends, Jesus being resilient and how Jesus inspired others to help the poor.

Father Gary also shared some of the exciting plans for this Jubilee Year for the Church. Thank you Father Gary, we learned lots from our visit!
