Salary:

Points E4 – E10: £27,723 – £29,079 (£14.41/hr – £15.11/hr) Enhanced rate for unsocial hours between 6pm and 10pm weekdays, 8am to 10pm weekends.

We have a range of Full-time/Part-time jobs available, e.g.:

Days/Times:

Term Time only plus INSET Days. Note: We close every other weekend and during school/college holidays. Exact start and finish times on which days will be discussed at interview, details are enclosed within the application pack.

Qualifications/Experience:

A level 3 qualification in health and social care is essential or a commitment to undertake this qualification on starting at St Rose’s.

St Rose’s provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs.

Due to an increase in the numbers of children and young people joining us at our residential school and college, we have variety of part-time care assistant positions available with shifts that include evenings and weekends. Providing personal care, assisting with eating and drinking, and moving and handling are all important aspects of this role. You will work closely with other care professionals to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes the independence and dignity of our students. A level 3 qualification in health and social care is required, if you don’t already have this qualification you will need to commence the course once you have joined us.
