St Rose’s and St Martin’s are set apart from many other specialist providers in a number of ways that combine to ensure that needs are met and potential nurtured in a lively, cheerful environment that has a family feel. Parents and families trust us implicitly.
At St Rose’s and St Martin’s we don’t categorise our students; we prefer to see them as individuals and seek to find ways to support and engage them. We can meet the needs of children and young people with any of (or a combination of) the following needs:
Physical Disabilities
Communication Difficulties
Autism
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties
Severe Learning Difficulties
Sensory Impairment
Complex Health Needs
The experienced team of specialist teachers, therapists, learning support and care staff are committed to providing a ‘seamless’ service that supports every young person and their family to develop to their full potential and realise their aspirations.
Our flexible residential provision enables us to support the young person and their family in a safe, secure and reassuring environment.
St Rose’s aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that offers stimulating opportunities appropriate to the needs of our students.
A team of experienced therapists are employed directly by the school to work alongside education and care staff. Collaborative therapy and sharing that knowledge is integral to the work of our school.
When a child or young person is happy, they have the best chance of progressing and achieving their goals. Ensuring that your child’s emotional needs are met is as important as their physical requirements.
