Students have enjoyed playing on an Xbox on loan from Special Effect with adapted controls. SpecialEffect is a UK based charity which uses video games and technology to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities.

In the video  I’m controlling where we go with the joystick and Dylan controlling all of the function buttons, so how fast we go, whether the dragon breathes flame at a ‘baddie’ or jumps to escape an attack. I imagine Adam would be able to put that into less ‘speechie’ language- I’ve never played an Xbox game before helping Dylan with it and I’m sure the function buttons have other names, I just don’t know what they are!

For SR2 students it basically works as a team game as none of them can use the joystick and function buttons at the same time.
