We’d like to say congratulations to Sheila Talwar, Principal of St Rose’s who received an award from the Bishop of the Clifton Diocese, The Right Reverend Declan Lang, on Tuesday 26 June 2018.
The award was to mark her 40 years of loyal service at St Rose’s.
She started at St Rose’s in September 1978 as a newly qualified occupational therapist, she was appointed Head of Post 16, as well as being Senior OT in 2000 and appointed head of care April 2010. She has been Acting Principal since October 2015 and appointed Principal in October 16.
Sheila said “On a personal note, in September I will have been at St Rose’s for forty years. I have seen many changes including the invention of hoists and of course, massive developments in technology. I am not sure how we managed before! Throughout this time, one thing that has not changed is that the young people are at the centre of everything we do and it is a privilege to be part of such a wonderful organisation where our values are put into practise every day.”
