Young adults entering St Martin’s follow a curriculum designed to meet their needs; interests and aspirations while they are at college. It supports them to realise their potential as they develop the knowledge and skills needed to enjoy adulthood with as much independence as possible and prepare for their long-term destinations.
It is a personalised curriculum with the young person at the centre and includes:-
Functional skills of English and mathematics
Health and well being
Work related learning
Therapy is an essential part of our offer as it enables our learners to participate in the curriculum and helps them achieve their individual aims during their time at college. Our holistic view means that the health needs of our young people are met throughout the college day and support the achievement of the educational aims.
